- Early Goldenrod -

Early Goldenrod (Solidago juncea) is a native perennial that brightens gardens and landscapes with its vibrant yellow blooms in late summer to early fall. This hardy plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for pollinator-friendly gardens. Early Goldenrod attracts a variety of beneficial insects, including bees and butterflies, while its drought-tolerant nature ensures it’s low-maintenance.  With its striking appearance and ecological benefits, Early Goldenrod is a wonderful addition to any garden or naturalized area.

Despite the common myth, goldenrods do not cause hay fever or allergies—it's actually ragweed, an invasive species that blooms at the same time, that is responsible for most allergy symptoms.
