- Obedient Plant -

Obedient Plant (Physostegia virginiana) is a striking native perennial known for its tall spikes of tubular pink to lavender flowers that bloom from late summer into fall. Despite its name, this plant can be quite enthusiastic in the garden, spreading easily to fill space. It thrives in full sun to part shade and moist soils, making it a great option for rain gardens, borders, and naturalized areas. Obedient Plant attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds—offering both beauty and ecological value.
