- Ohio Spiderwort -

Ohio Spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis) is a hardy, clump-forming native perennial with striking blue-purple flowers that bloom in the morning and close by midday. Its grass-like leaves add texture to gardens and natural areas, and it thrives in full sun to partial shade with medium to moist soil. A great choice for pollinator gardens, this plant attracts bees and other beneficial insects. Low-maintenance and adaptable, Ohio Spiderwort brings early summer color and ecological value to any native landscape.
