- Sawtooth Sunflower -

Sawtooth Sunflower (Helianthus grosseserratus) is a vibrant native perennial that brings a burst of yellow to your garden from late summer to fall. Known for its distinctive serrated leaves and tall, sturdy stems, this plant can grow up to 8 feet tall. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it perfect for naturalized gardens, prairies, or pollinator-friendly landscapes. The showy flowers attract bees, butterflies, and birds, making it a great choice for supporting local wildlife. Sawtooth Sunflowers are hardy and low-maintenance, offering both beauty and function to any garden. It's a favorite here at Liv's Native Nursery, and we highly recommend it for any native plant garden!
